This exhibition is designed to excite and confirm the viewer's expectations. It displays selected, fine quality reproductions (serigraphs ) of the works of 3 major Indian contemporary artists: Rameshwar Broota, Jogen Chowdhury and Prabhakar Kolte representing the finest output of their creative expression from the 80's through to the 'threshold' moment of today brought into focus by recent work.

At a time when everyone is glued to the idea of art as transgressive, these 3 artists are exceptional in their independent and personal spirit. Their individual approaches in their very different works are inclusive of art history even as they transcend current trends and occupy a place which is distinctly contemporary.

Each artist's presentation is a distilled recording of his journey. Even as links remain with the earlier images, new themes and levels of ideas and technique reveal the building and sometimes dismantling of their visions. This exhibition will provide an opportunity to viewers to track these mutating trajectories and witness the insight and fullness of each artist in mid-career and supremely in tune with his artistic impulses.
