Deeply Influenced by Sri D.P.Roy Choudhury & Rodin , Patnaik practices this difficult and Laborious medium Even Today. His Subject Matter Is derived from the soil-where nature in complicity with Man Tells the whole story.

Broken Surfaces essentialize his working methods .The hallmarks of his oeuvre are the rugged weathered portraits in bronze, a reflection of ethnicity& existential hardship of his subject .The vigorous modeling produces chiaroscuro effects to create texture and his mastery over manipulation of Patina generates expressionistic exaggeration.
